Sivanne Detsky

As far as I can recall I always knew helping animals would be my career.  Throughout high school I worked at a 24 hour emergency veterinary clinic as an assistant, and learnt of the Veterinary Technician role in the hospital. After graduating high school I attended St. Clair College in Windsor, ON and in 2005 became a Registered Veterinary Technician.

For the better part of the last decade I’ve worked as a veterinary technician at a very busy small animal  hospital in Toronto.  In June 2014, I joined Rosedale Moore Park Veterinary Clinic and am thoroughly enjoying the community practice Dr. Paterson has developed in this beautiful neighborhood. 

While most would think once I leave the clinic for the day I leave the excitement behind, I actually return home to an equally busy and pet filled home with my 3 children (Jordyn, Ari and Eliav), 2 Cairn Terriers (Tucker and Annie) and my 2 rescue cats (Colin and Maggie).  My days are always busy and exciting, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
